| Tasting Notes / Comments: | The 2001 Late Harvest Viognier is sweet (5% residual sugar), powerfully aromatic and flavorful, and higher in alcohol. It has a full, rich, coating texture and a long, clean finish. A hedonistic wine made for sipping. The grapes were foots stomped and left on the skins for two days while it sat in our walk-in cooler. On the third day it was pressed to barrel and inoculated. Only a single barrel was produced yielding only 41 cases as 12 packs of 375 ml bottles.
