| Tasting Notes / Comments: | The aromatics are splendid: springtime perfumery, fresh ginger, peaches & apricots, buchu and honeysuckle. The palate is waxy and delicate yet with an underlying strength and focus. Aromas follow effortlessly onto the rich palate. It tastes like no other wine!
Rustenberg Wines (2003 vintage)
This is quite rich and could be termed off dry, but it has excellent ripe aromatic fruit flavours of peaches and limes.
This is a one off parcel of wine from the brilliant Rustenberg winery. Viognier is very well suited to the climate of the Cape and there is a lot of interest in the new wines coming on stream.
