| Tasting Notes / Comments: | Inspired by the superb Viogniers of northern Rhône, the Merwe family planted a small (1.5ha) Viognier vineyard in a site surrounded on three sides by mountains. Cut-off from much of the evening sun, the grapes retain their crisp acidity - perfect for the production of top class aromatic whites.
Beautifully fragrant with notes of honeysuckle and jasmine. The palate is rich, creamy and round with spicy, green pepper notes and a dry finish.
