Recommended by:Superb, dry apricot fruit ...
Superplonk 2002 (2001 vintage)

... rich and peachy with real Viognier character. A lushly textured wine with plenty of alcohol and good length on the palate...
Tim Aitkin, The Observer - 27 Jan 2002 (2001 vintage)

Beautiful dry apricot fruit ... ...a delicate beauty ...
Superplonk 2002 (2000 vintage)

... peachy dry white with a refreshing grapefruity twist to balance the tropical fruit richness.

Tasting Notes / Comments:A pale yellow Argentinean Viognier. Sharp acidic smell initially becoming sweeter with honey suckle and a little vanilla. The citrus carries through in the taste but there is plenty of sweetness. Some pears and apricots.
'Enjoying Viognier' (2001 vintage)

A lovely lemon tinged aroma with that slightly heady honeysuckle perfume. Dry palate and not oily or confected, medium bodied with a lovely long aftertaste.
Andrew Barrow (2001 vintage)
